When the Core i9-14900K is tasked with high loads, such as running Cinebench R23 or other demanding applications at full speed, the Core i9-14900K can reach temperatures as high as 100°C, leading to potential frequency throttling. To ensure the optimal performance of the CPU, we recommend utilizing a powerful cooling solution, such as a 360mm AIO liquid cooler.

During intense tasks like running Cinebench R23, the CPU Package Power of the Core i9-14900K exceeds 320W, while the Core i7-14700K reaches up to 280W, and the Core i5-14600K hovers around 184W. Hence, if you are planning to purchase the Core i7-14700K or Core i9-14900K, we suggest pairing it with a 360mm AIO liquid cooler that has a cooling capacity of at least 320W. MSI MAG CORELIQUID E360 Keeps Core i9-14900K Running Cool
We conducted tests with the new MSI MAG CORELIQUID E360 liquid cooler, and after an hour of running Cinebench R23, the Core i9-14900K's maximum temperature was 89.5°C, and the Core i7-14700K's was 86.5°C.
